Heja alternative: every team in one club account, with safe team chat
A Heja alternative for a club should hold every team in one account: one calendar, one place for replies and attendance, and team chat with clear rules for young players. Play 2 Earn Sports does that, and brings your current season across from a calendar link. This page shows what a club gets, five questions to ask before you switch, a worked six-team club, and how to move across.
Starter is free for clubs with up to 10 teams.

Every team in one club account
0:00 By the end of this video, you will know what your club gets when every team moves into one Play 2 Earn Sports account. You will also have a calm plan to switch. We will cover what a club gets, a short note on Heja, five questions, a worked example, and moving your season across.
What a club gets from Play 2 Earn Sports
0:19 Play 2 Earn Sports puts every team in one club account. The team and club calendar shows games, practices and events on web and phone. Players and parents answer Going, Maybe or Can't go, and coaches see the counts and the names. Coaches and club staff also mark attendance: present, late, absent or excused.
0:43 Each team has Team, Coaches and Parents channels. A private chat between an adult and a minor brings a parent or guardian into the conversation until the player turns eighteen. Players under fourteen can only message teammates directly. Messages can be reported or blocked.
1:00 When a team event, team game or club game changes, affected families get in-app, email and push notices by default. Families can opt out of event email and push in their settings.
A short note on Heja
1:12 Heja describes itself as a team app for organizing and communicating with everybody on a sports team. Its pages, checked on October eighteenth, 2026, list scheduling with replies, team chat and a private team hub. Its pricing page lists a free plan, paid Team Pro plans and club deals.
Five questions to ask before you switch
1:31 Now five questions for any platform. One: is it built for one team, or for every team in your club? Two: where does the league schedule live, and does it reach each team without retyping? Three: what are the chat rules for young players?
1:47 Four: can the coach see who is coming, and later, who actually came? Five: can you bring your current season across, and can your board read the price for the whole club before a sales call? Write the answers down, and score each platform on your own season.
A six-team club, worked through
2:04 Here is a typical example. It is illustrative, not a specific club. A club has six teams of fourteen players, so eighty-four players in all. Until now, each team ran its own group in a separate team app, with its own admin.
2:19 In one club account, the six teams share one club calendar. Each team gets three channels, so the club has eighteen channels, and each one has a clear job. A parent with a child on two teams uses one account for both. On Saturday, four of the six teams play at home.
2:37 The club holds two fields, with kickoffs at nine, ten thirty and noon. That is six slots. Four games use four slots, and two stay spare for a late change.
Moving your season across
2:47 Moving in starts with the schedule you have. If your current app gives you a calendar link, paste it into Import schedule, check the preview, then confirm. Today, this is a one-way import of games, not a full migration of past records. Try one team first, for one week, with real games and real messages. Then invite the rest of the club, one team at a time.
How Play 2 Earn Sports helps
3:09 Now, how Play 2 Earn Sports helps a club. The calendar shows games, practices and events. Players and parents answer Going, Maybe or Can't go, and coaches mark attendance separately. Each team has Team, Coaches and Parents channels, with a guardian brought into adult-to-minor chats until eighteen.
3:29 If your club also runs a league, league auto-scheduling builds a season with round robin, divisions, home and away balance and venue-conflict checks. The app installs from the website on iPhone and Android. Tap Turn on notifications; on iPhone, add it to the Home Screen first.
Coaching one team?
3:46 Coaching one team on your own? Start a free club account for your team on the club starter page. Every organization feature is on every plan, so your team gets the calendar, the replies and the chat. One club account, every team, one calendar and team chat with safe-sport rules.
4:06 The full guide is on the page linked in the description. Try it with your own club: Starter is free for clubs with up to 10 teams. Thanks for watching.
What a club gets from Play 2 Earn Sports
-
Every team in one club account
Every team sits in one club account, so the club sees all of them at once. The team and club calendar shows games, practices and events on web and phone.
-
One account for a parent with several children
One parent account switches between several children on different teams. A family with a child on the under-10 team and another on the under-14 team follows both from one place.
-
Going, Maybe or Can't go, with names
Players and parents answer Going, Maybe or Can't go, and coaches see the counts and the names. A coach can send one manual in-app reminder per item, at most once every 24 hours.
-
Attendance, kept separately
Coaches and club staff mark attendance as present, late, absent or excused, separately from replies. A reply is a plan; attendance is what happened.
-
Team chat with safe-sport rules
Each team has Team, Coaches and Parents channels. A private adult-to-minor chat brings a parent or guardian into the conversation until the player turns 18. Players under 14 can only DM teammates. Messages can be reported or blocked.
-
Change notices from the schedule
When a team event, team game or club game changes, affected families get in-app, email and push notices by default. They can opt out of event email and push.
A short, neutral note on Heja
Heja describes itself as a team app to "organize and communicate with everybody on your sports team". Its homepage lists scheduling of practices, games and events with availability replies, team chat and a private, members-only team hub, and its help center has a collection for clubs. Its pricing page lists a Free plan, paid Team Pro and Team Pro Max plans, and club deals arranged with its sales team.

Five questions to ask before you switch
-
Is it built for one team, or for the whole club?
Count how many separate groups your families follow today. A club platform should hold every team in one account.
-
Where does the league schedule live?
If games are retyped from a league site into each team's app, ask how the schedule reaches each team instead.
-
What are the chat rules for young players?
Ask who is in a private chat between an adult and a minor, and what a young player can message.
-
Can the coach see who is coming, and who came?
Replies and attendance answer different questions. You want both.
-
Can you bring your season across, and read the price for the whole club?
A board should be able to read the cost for every team before a sales call, and move the current season without retyping it.
Write your answers down and score each platform on your own season, not on a feature page.
Worked example
A six-team club in one account
Illustrative example, not a specific club.
A community soccer club has six teams of fourteen players: 6 × 14 = 84 players. Until now, each team ran its own group in a separate team app, with its own admin, and families with two children followed two groups.
| Before (one group per team) | After (one club account) | |
|---|---|---|
| Teams | 6 separate groups | 6 teams in one account |
| Calendars families check | One per team | One club calendar |
| Chat | One group per team | 6 teams × 3 channels (Team, Coaches, Parents) = 18 channels, each with a clear job |
| A parent with children on two teams | Two groups to follow | One account, switching between children |
Saturday home games. Four of the six teams play at home. The club holds two fields with kickoffs at 9:00, 10:30 and 12:00.
| Check | Numbers | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Slots on Saturday | 2 fields × 3 kickoffs | 6 slots |
| Home games | 4 teams at home | 4 slots used |
| Room for a late change | 6 − 4 | 2 spare slots |
When the under-12 game moves from 9:00 to 12:00 because a field is late opening, it moves once, in the calendar, and the affected families get the change notice. The other three games stay where they were.

How Play 2 Earn Sports supports a club
Play 2 Earn Sports gives you club management software with every team in one place, across 18 sports.
-
The calendar
The team and club calendar shows games, practices and events on web and phone. Practices can be created with a location; repeating practices are set up through the club's event tools.
-
Replies
Players and parents answer Going, Maybe or Can't go, and coaches see counts and names. A coach can send one manual in-app reminder per item, at most once every 24 hours. Today, following up with families who have not replied is your team's process; the reminder is there when you need it.
-
Attendance
Coaches and club staff mark attendance (present, late, absent, excused), separately from replies.
-
Team chat
Each team has Team, Coaches and Parents channels. Players, coaches and chat-enabled staff post in Team; coaches post in Coaches; coaches and guardians post in Parents. Guardians can read their child's Team channel but not post there, and club admins can audit read-only.
-
Safe-sport design
A private adult-to-minor chat brings a parent or guardian into the conversation until the player turns 18. Players under 14 can only DM teammates. Messages can be reported or blocked.
-
Parents with several children
One parent account switches between several children on different teams.
-
Changes
When a team event, team game or club game changes, affected families get in-app, email and push notices by default, and they can opt out of event email and push.
-
If your club also runs a league
League auto-scheduling builds a season with round robin, divisions, home and away balance, team availability and venue-conflict checks, and a field or team booked twice is flagged. See league scheduling software.
-
On the phone
The app installs from the website on iPhone and Android, not from the app stores. Tap Turn on notifications to get notices on the phone; on iPhone, add it to the Home Screen first. Live data needs a connection.
Every team, one account.
Moving your season across
Start from the schedule you have. If your current app gives you a calendar link, paste it into Import schedule, check the preview, and confirm. Today, this is a one-way import of games, not a full migration of past records, so keep your own copy of anything you need from before. Then open the three channels for that team, invite the families, and test one team for a week before the rest of the club moves. For the league side, see how to move your league schedule from another app.
Coaching one team?
Coaching one team on your own? Start a free club account for your team at club starter. Coaches are added through a club account, so the free club account is how a coach on their own gets started. Every organization feature is on every plan, so your one team gets the calendar, the replies, attendance and team chat from the start.
Common mistakes
-
Moving every team at once
Try one team for a week first, with real games and real messages.
-
Leaving the schedule in two places
Once the season is imported, treat the new calendar as the only version.
-
One channel for everything
Player chat, coach planning and parent logistics each need their own space.
-
Assuming history moves
Keep your own copy of past records; the import brings games across, not the past.
