Switching platforms
Import your schedule from TeamSnap, SportsEngine and other platforms
Switching doesn't mean retyping the season. In Play 2 Earn Sports a club pastes the calendar link its current platform publishes, or uploads an .ics or CSV file, checks the preview and confirms. The import is one-way and brings the schedule only; rosters and registrations stay where they are.
Free for up to 10 teams. Players join free. See plans and limits.
- Calendar link
- .ics file
- CSV
What you can bring
What comes over, and what doesn't
Agree the scope with your board and coaches before the switch, so nobody expects a full data migration.
-
A calendar link
Paste the calendar link your platform publishes, an https:// or webcal:// address. Most major platforms publish one.
-
An .ics or .ical file
Upload a calendar file exported from your platform, or from a Google, iCloud or Outlook calendar.
-
A CSV
Upload a spreadsheet of the schedule, including TeamSnap's schedule CSV export.
-
Not included
Rosters and registrations don't come over, and there is no two-way sync. The import runs one way, into Play 2 Earn Sports.
Every import starts with a preview: you see the games found and a check of what will be created before you confirm anything.
Supported platforms
Platforms we import from
Play 2 Earn Sports works with calendar links from the platforms below. None of them is a partner: the import reads the same calendar link any calendar app can subscribe to.
| Platform | What to bring |
|---|---|
| TeamSnap and TeamSnap ONE | A team's calendar link, or TeamSnap's schedule CSV |
| SportsEngine | The calendar link from Sync Schedule, or a site's iCal feed |
| GameChanger | The calendar link from Schedule Sync |
| LeagueApps | The link from Subscribe to Calendar |
| TeamLinkt | The iCal or Webcal link from Subscribe |
| PlayMetrics | The link from Sync Calendar |
| Heja | The calendar link (part of Heja's paid plans) |
| Sports Connect | The calendar URL from the schedule's Sync option |
| Demosphere | The team schedule's calendar link |
| RAMP InterActive | The team's calendar subscription link |
| BenchApp | The URL from Subscribe to Calendar |
| Crossbar | The Family Calendar's calendar feed |
| Google, iCloud or Outlook calendar | That calendar's own link, or an exported .ics file |
| Anything else | Any https:// or webcal:// calendar link, an .ics file or a CSV |
Step by step
Find the calendar link on your current platform
Each set of steps comes from the platform's own help page, checked on October 12, 2026 (listed under Sources). Menus change, so if yours looks different, look for Subscribe, Sync or iCal. Use each team's own link rather than a combined all-teams feed, so you can check one team's games at a time.
-
TeamSnap
- In a web browser, open the team and go to Schedule → Settings → Sync Calendar / Export.
- Copy the calendar link.
- TeamSnap ONE: in the app, open All Schedules, tap the calendar icon and choose Sync other calendar. The links arrive by email.
-
SportsEngine
- Open the Schedule tab of your MySE account.
- Click Sync Schedule, choose Other Calendar and click Copy.
- On a SportsEngine site, the iCal Feed icon under a team's event list gives a link too; it only appears when the calendar has events.
-
GameChanger
- From Home, select the team and tap the gear icon.
- Open Schedule Sync and choose Sync Schedule to Your Calendar, then copy the calendar link.
- Staff, players and parents sync every team event; followers get games only.
-
LeagueApps
- Sign in on your organization's site and open My Schedule from the Dashboard.
- Choose Subscribe to Calendar, then Copy Link.
- LeagueApps' calendar sync covers events from one month back to six months ahead.
-
TeamLinkt
- On the web, choose your team in the top-right dropdown.
- Click Schedules → Schedule, then Subscribe.
- Pick the iCal or Webcal option and copy the URL.
-
PlayMetrics
- Open Sync Calendar.
- Choose the full calendar or games only, and copy the link.
-
BenchApp
- Log in at benchapp.com and go to your Schedule page.
- Click Subscribe to Calendar and copy the calendar URL.
-
Heja
- In the Heja app, open the Schedule view and tap Sync.
- Choose Copy calendar link. Calendar links come with Heja's paid plan.
-
Sports Connect
- Go to Schedules → Calendar → Sync.
- Copy the calendar URL.
-
Crossbar
- Signed in, open Family Calendar at the top left.
- Choose Calendar Feed at the top right and follow its instructions to copy the feed.
For Demosphere and RAMP InterActive, look for the calendar sync or subscribe option on the team's schedule. We couldn't confirm their current menus on an official help page today, so ask their support if it isn't obvious.

Run the season here
From now on, move or cancel games in Play 2 Earn Sports and both teams are told.
Import is the quick route for a club that already has its games. If you run a league and need the season built from scratch, the league scheduling software page covers the scheduling wizard, and the sports scheduling software overview shows how venues, availability, referees and notices fit around it.
After the import
What families see after you switch
Importing a whole season doesn't send a notice per game. Bulk generation and schedule imports are deliberately quiet, so families don't wake up to forty alerts. Tell them about the switch yourself, with one announcement and your club's join link.
Once the games are in, they behave like any other game. Move, cancel, postpone or restore an imported game and the people on both teams are told in the app, by email, by push where enabled and in team chat, with edits made within two minutes bundled into one notice.
Players with a team on another platform can connect that platform's calendar link themselves with Connect my schedule, and keep it refreshed or paused, so the second team's games stay in view.
Switching checklist
A clean switch in one week
Before you import
- Pick a switch date between game days, not the night before a tournament
- Create your teams in Play 2 Earn Sports first
- Bring the old schedule up to date, including recent moves and cancellations
- Copy each team's calendar link, or export an .ics or CSV file
After you import
- Compare the preview with the old schedule, game by game
- Post one announcement with your club's join link
- Make every change in Play 2 Earn Sports from now on, so families get the notices
- Stop editing the old schedule once families have joined

Import FAQ
Questions aboutswitching
Yes. On the TeamSnap website, open the team and go to Schedule → Settings → Sync Calendar / Export, copy the calendar link and paste it into Import schedule, or upload TeamSnap's schedule CSV instead. You see a preview before anything is saved. Rosters and registrations don't come over, so players join your club in Play 2 Earn Sports with the club's join link.
No, there is no two-way sync. The import runs one way, from your old platform into Play 2 Earn Sports. Treat it as a move rather than a mirror: once the games are in, make changes in Play 2 Earn Sports so families get the change notices, and stop editing the old schedule.
No. Imports don't flood families with notices; bulk imports are quiet on purpose. After that, any imported game you move, cancel, postpone or restore notifies both teams in the app, by email, by push where enabled and in team chat.
Not with a calendar link. Spond doesn't publish one, and GotSport's link is only in its team app. If the games reach a Google, iCloud or Outlook calendar, import that calendar's link or an exported .ics file instead; otherwise upload a CSV of the schedule.
A calendar link that starts with https:// or webcal://, an .ics or .ical calendar file, or a CSV. Calendar files exported from Google, iCloud or Outlook work the same way as files from a sports platform, so a schedule kept in a shared club calendar can come over too.
No. The import brings the schedule only. Players join through your club's join link, parents are linked to their children, and club fees are tracked in Play 2 Earn Sports, so plan a short window for families to join before the first game on the new schedule.
Starter is free for clubs with up to 10 teams and leagues with up to 10 clubs, and players join free. Larger clubs and leagues move to a paid tier, priced monthly in US dollars. See current plans and pricing for the tiers and limits.
