Hockey teams looking for games

In hockey the ice decides the game: whoever holds the slot usually hosts. Post an open slot or search hockey teams by age group and distance, then agree how the hour is split between warm-up, periods and the resurface.

Searching for teams and sending friendly invites is free for registered clubs.

Inside Game Hub

What registered clubs see

Each team in the finder shows its sport, birth year and gender with the range it will play, its level and distance, whether it can host, any open game, and its record of confirmed results, late cancels and no-shows. Team-level only: no player names, ages or photos, and a field's exact address is shared with the two clubs after the game is confirmed.

How it works

From search to kickoff

  1. Find or post a game

Search teams by sport, age, level and distance, or post an open game for others to pick up.

  2. Send a friendly invite

You pick the date, time and your field. The other club accepts, declines or suggests a new time.

  3. Play

The game goes on both calendars, players and parents are told, and changes notify both teams.

  4. Record it

Both clubs confirm the score, and it counts toward each team's friendly record.

Why Game Hub

Why clubs use Game Hub

  • Real games, not group chats

A confirmed game is one shared game on both teams' calendars, with time, field and opponent. Nobody copies details between apps.

  • Players and parents are told

When a game moves or is canceled, players and parents on both teams get the same game-change alerts clubs use for league games.

  • A record clubs can check

Each team builds a Game Hub record: games played, results both clubs confirmed, late cancels and no-shows.

Hockeyquestions

Post an open game with your ice slot, or search hockey teams by age group and distance and offer to share a slot. The host is the team that has the ice, and the visiting team plans its travel around the slot.

It usually matches the ice you have booked, often one hour including the warm-up. Some teams play stop-time periods, others a running clock. Write the plan into the friendly invite so both benches know what to expect.

Yes. Many hockey scrimmages open with a shared practice block and then move to a controlled game. Agree on the contact rules for the age group and how many periods you will play.
