Youth Sports Live Game Rooms Bring Families to Game Day
Game Rooms are private youth sports live match rooms: a countdown, live feed, verified Player Moments and approved highlights, with a free guest view.
OTTAWA — Play 2 Earn Sports' Game Rooms are private youth sports live match rooms. Each room combines a countdown, a live feed, sport-aware reactions, verified Player Moments and approved highlights. A shared Match Pass opens a free, privacy-limited guest view, so a grandparent or travelling parent can follow along.
The rooms are built for the supporters who cannot be at the field, and for clubs that need to keep youth sport private while still sharing it.
What is in a live game room?
- Countdown and live feed: the room opens for a scheduled club game, with updates from a clearly labelled Match Host.
- Verified Player Moments: a goal or big play is confirmed by an authorized official before it counts.
- Sport reactions: cheers such as "Goal!", "Great save" and "Team play", across 18 sports.
- Highlight Reel: only approved moments appear.
Game Rooms show a live feed, reactions and approved clips. They are not a video livestream.
How does a Match Pass work?
Game Rooms come from eligible, published club games with a real opponent. An authenticated member who already has access to the game creates a signed link that lasts seven days. Guests can forward that same link, but they cannot create a new one or extend it.
Anyone with the link can watch free, without an account. Email verification is needed only to react or to suggest a provisional goal. A suggestion never changes the official score or statistics until an authorized official verifies it.
Why is it private by design?
Youth games involve minors, so the guest view leaves out the exact venue and time, the roster, private chat, contacts and any unapproved media. There is no searchable public directory of youth Game Rooms. The page states that Match Host prompts are labelled and that the platform never invents parents, players or attendance.
In Canada, how organizations handle personal information is governed by privacy law such as PIPEDA. A guest's email verification only grants access. It does not sign anyone up for marketing; any follow-up option stays unchecked and includes an unsubscribe control.
Who is it for?
- families and relatives who cannot travel to every game;
- clubs that want game-day engagement without a public stream;
- players, whose verified moments link to their player profile.
